The Eighth Room

The Eighth Room is the second life of Nashville’s Douglas Corner, redrawn as a hospitality-grade listening lounge. Gucci wallpaper, Versace furnishings, amber light, moody at every hour. The brief was a sound system that performs like a stage and disappears like a parlor.

Viation designed and installed a discreet Martin Audio system, distributed so the music wraps the room evenly without pushing past conversation. The artists tell the story better than the spec sheet does.

Grace Episcopal Church

Grace Episcopal Church sits on Bainbridge Island. The sanctuary, a 2003 Cutler Anderson design, is timber-framed and modern: vaulted ceilings radiating from a central peak, a great gable window framing the altar, chairs gathered around the central liturgical space.

Viation designed and installed the upgrade with one rule above all: the loudspeakers had to disappear. The 1 SOUND loudspeakers carry custom finishes matched to the rafters, set inside the wood line of the room. The architect’s intent leads. The system follows.

Island Church

Island Church gathers a community on Bainbridge Island under Pastors Isaac and Lynn Harris. Viation designed and installed the sound system for the sanctuary. Voice and music reach every seat without dominating the room.
